Discordia
Discordia is the turning point. The place where precision starts to wobble. It moves in an uneven pulse that feels deliberate at first, then quietly unsettling — like something has shifted just slightly off its axis and hasn’t corrected itself yet.
Strings and harpsichord push forward with discipline. Brass and percussion pull against them. The rhythm sits just off-center, a machine running outside its tolerances, friction in every phrase. Nothing breaks. Nothing gives. But you can feel the pressure accumulating underneath the surface.
The tension doesn’t resolve. It lingers, coiled and unspent, as if the music itself is waiting for something it knows won’t arrive in time.
